Ok, girls (this one is mostly for the girls)! If you, like myself, wear skirts and dresses, you know what an issue tights can be. They often get ripped after just one use, they shred after one or two washes, they can be too loose or too tight! Now, here comes a kind advice – buy Wolford tights! They are (much) more expensive than regular no-name or H&M tights, but they are the best. They last for years and are as comfortable as your own skin.
I bought myself my first pair about two years ago in Rome. It was a struggle, since I really wanted to try them (as I saw all the Italian ladies leaving the Wolford store with gigantic shopping bags), but I just couldn’t bring myself to pay the price! Anyway, when I tried them on I didn’t regret my spent money at all. And do I need to say there was no way back for me? Later I bought quite a few Wolfords. In fact, today I’m wearing that very first pair of tights – and they still look like new!
This is not a sponsored blog post. I wish it was though, from Wolford I’d gladly accept payment in tights!

I’ve always wanted to try Wolford tights, although to be honest I have very few problems with cheaper tights (except the gray ones from H&M, they always rip!) I keep most of my tights for years- my secret is to buy them at dance apparel stores; they’re thicker and sturdier, but still look pretty. I might stop by Wolford during the after Christmas sales, though

Thanks for the advice, Cee! I will check out dance apparel stores for tights!
Wow, I’ve never heard of these before. Are they sold in department stores? I wear tights on most days to work and I would love to try these.

Yes, they are sold in department stores and they also have a Wolford store!
I’m always laddering my tights, I should really try these!
You won’t be disappointed, Carrie!
I’ve never seen these for sale! I’d totally invest in a pair – mine usually only last 2-3 washes and then they’re ripped
That’s typical, Emily! That used to happen to me too!
We have such similar taste! I used to wear cheaper high street types but after a few washes/wears, the toe part would rip. Since trying Wolford tights a couple of years ago, I simply cannot wear any other brand. I take very good care of them and wash them like silk lingerie – very gentle washing powder and by hand.
At €30 per pair, they’re not cheap but definitely worth the investment. Yay, go Wolford girls!!
I’m shaking your hand, Milla! Finally someone who agrees and knows what I’m talking about!
Hehe, some products like lingerie, tights, shoes, bags and make-up deserve investment. I think we need a shopping trip together!
PS – when are you going to London?
I know, I know!!! That’s exactly what I’m talking about! Some people think it’s only about silky dresses – when bras are actually more important!
On the 24th of Dec!
Oh I will take your advice on this one. I hate it when I buy tights (and I do quite often) and they always end up getting ripped or look weird after washing them. I hate spending money on things like this but I guess in the end it will be worth it!
I need to find these tights!

Oh yes, a Wolford just recently opened up in my area! I haven’t been in, but the exterior is gorgeous. I’m sure their products are good too, at least according to you!
