Why are the small ones always so angry?

Greger and I have seen the most peculiar dog today. It was very small, the size of a very young kitten or so, but it was as angry as an infuriated lion! Greger observed it with great interest and curiosity.

I have a small dog – a Pekingese – and you’re right, the smaller ones often have a bad temper. While my dog is very loving towards me and my family, he barks a lot at strangers! I think they do it to overcompensate for their small size ;) . The big ones are usually more loving and gentle!

I have a 12 pound Bichon Frise – Schizu mix, and although she’s quite adorable, she also thinks she is very powerful and can scare away any large dog and people who jog down our road. But she loves cats, and I believe she’s having a love affair with our barncat Buster.

It’s because they are intimidated by the big ones! Their bark is louder than their bite.. well. in most cases… lol

It’s a chihuahua! I had a long-haired one years ago, they are very protective of their owners and very brave.

o haha a chihuahua! My dad owns one. They are really loyal to one person in general and quite territorial. My dads once bit me for trying to pick him up off the bed!

It’s a great question. An unsolved mystery … I think it’s his way of asserting. You know what they say “tiny but thug”
