There are a few of you who asked me to make a post on the Versace for H&M collection. As you might know, H&M has had cooperations with different designers several years in a row now. Last year I got a couple of things from Lanvin for H&M. Versace for H&M will hit stores November 17th 2011.
However, I don’t think I will be cuing for this release. There are some nice pieces there, but I will be surprised if it will have much success in Sweden. To me, the whole collection screams of Italy and there’s very little Nordic style about it.
Although, I might get something anyway if I like it in person. Here I picked out some of the pieces I liked.

I heard that leather dress is the most expensive piece! I think i like 2 dresses from this collection, but not in a particular way: the black and the yellow backless ones.
But still…. I donno if I’m going to buy them.

The best peice in my opinion, is the black leather dress. The rest is so, so…
I like it too, Ilona! Although, that kind of dress really needs to fit perfectly to look good. And I can see from here that it might be a problem for me.
Ok sioreusly you are the luckiest person I know. I don’t know anyone else who’s boyfriend would go to a store to shop for them, much less on a crazy day like that. He is officially the perfect boyfriend. I am curious to see now how this collection will do.
I didn’t even know H&M were doing a new designer collaboration this year. Interesting, but not as interesting as the Lanvin or Jimmy Choo collab.
I agree, Karen! I liked the Lanvin one, but the Jimmi Choo wasn’t really my style, even though it was nice. Did you get anything?
I didn’t for either of the collections. They were only in Antwerp and I lived two hours away by train. This year however I’ll try to go take a look as I’m studying in Antwerp now.
Still sorry about the Choo’s though… There was one pair that I really wanted.
Oh, don’t be sorry, Karen! Hopefully, one day you’ll be getting a pair of Jimmi Choo’s as in Jimmi Choo, and not “for H&M” ones:)

When I previewed the collection, I was surprised at how many pieces I liked bit I am not sure I’m going to rush into the store for this line. I really loved their Jimmy Choo and Lanvin collections.
No, I’m not rushing either. Even though I (surprisingly) really like the yellow/leopard pieces:) Did you get anything from the previous collaborations?
I liked the yellow leopard pieces too and I am not one for a lot of print but for some reason those pieces I liked. I tried to get items from the previous collections but by the time I got through the masses and into the store I either didn’t find my size or the pieces I wanted were sold out. Just my luck
. It gets really crazy here to shop these collections. You have to get a bracelet to shop a certain section in the store and you only get 15 minutes or so to shop that section. How about you?
It’s the same here! The masses are absolutely crazy! Luckily, last year it was Hannes who got me the pieces I wanted (he had a list of stuff with him). But this year, I don’t think I’ll going!

I agree, it has too much bling for me. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I also got a dress from Lanvin but Versace.. I don’t know. And only two stores pretty far away from me are going to sell the items so I guess I’m gonna pass..

I knew about Versace collection but had not seen anything. Personally I don´t like this clothes, is also true that Versace I never liked too much. If I have opportunity to see any clothes in person maybe I change my opinion, for example, black and pink dress that you have selected, but nothing else catches my attention. I am much more classical …
