Tweeting with friends

I just happen to really like this picture. Can you even see me here?

Ok, so I don’t know why I was skeptic about Twitter! Now that I have my own Twitter account I feel like I’m getting addicted. I know I’m a bit late to the party, but still.
Also, I got warmly welcomed by friends like the charming Susie of Take-out in Couture, my dear Leia, Naomi, Marina and others. Thanks, girls! By the way, if you’re into make-up, check out Marina’s awesome blog Makeup4All – she’s always got the most interesting products and latest news!

My only concern now is how straightforward my tweets should be. Or should I post, like, really thoughtful things on Twitter? Although, I personally enjoy knowing what my friends are having for lunch right now, and if they’re staying in or buying groceries at the moment. Things like that. If they’ve missed their morning bus today or not.

Also, all of my Twitter friends are in a good company of Karl Lagerfeld. And this man does post some really thoughtful tweets!..

Since I’m food obsessed (and nosy), I quite like the “what I’m having for lunch” type tweets. I think my tweets are mostly straightforward – it’s quite difficult to get thoughtful in 140 characters although I know some people manage it quite well! Even though I’ve been tweeting for a while, I still find it hard to know what exactly I should tweet. I do like joining discussions that other people are having, or asking a question and seeing the response!

I’m not following you on Twitter because I’m afraid you might see who I am..

  3. Thank you, that is so sweet of you! I am very happy that you like my blog x

Rachel Phipps did a really interesting blog post entitled “Do you think before you tweet” and my answer was basically “no!” I kind of tweet whatever, although hopefully some people find it interesting (and if they don’t, they can always unfollow, I guess!) So happy to have you finally on twitter! I love hearing the food tweets too, btw, total foodie here! <3

I still haven’t tried out Twitter. I’ve always been quite skeptical to the whole idea of it, but after reading this I might just give it a go =) I mean, why not?
I can totally see why you like that photo, I love it too! Looks like something out of a fairytale

    Thanks for a great make-up blog tip! I really like Make-up 4 All now! I love make-up<3<3

Thank you for the mention, I’m so glad you joined twitter! Twitter is defined as ‘microblogging’ site, so I would say, treat it like a very-easy-to-update version of your blog and see how it goes! x
