TV series

Flight of the Conchords is one of my favorite TV series ever. However, I think that the first season of it was way better than the second one.
You probably remember me raving about Forbrydelsen. What a great show! But the same here, now I’m in the middle of Forbrydelsen II and I must say that, unfortunately, it isn’t as good as the first season at all.
I don’t have much luck with TV shows. For some reason there are very few ones that get me hooked.

Which TV shows are you following at the moment?

I love Flight of the Concords!! They are so funny! I was so sad when they stopped doing their show. I agree the first season was better than the second. Maybe they felt that and that is why they stopped. I know that Bret wrote some songs for the Muppets movie. I am dying to know which ones.

    (И Дневники вампира)))

I love flight of the conchords! My favorite song if the “Foo Doo Fah Fah” (spelling might be way off, the “french” song…)

I’m watching “How I Met Your Mother” on Netflix…I also love “Parks and Recreation” and “Community”(though its on hiatus :( )

I love Flight of the Conchords too! Have you heard their radio show? It’s really good, almost like the first television series :)
Right now I’m enjoying The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy :)

For a long time I refused to watch The Wire even though everybody said it’s one of the best shows ever made. I watched one episode and didn’t understand what the fuss was about (or the slang I must admit). But somehow I was persuaded to watch two more and then I was hooked. If you have the patience to give it a chance, you’ll have five great seasons with the most intriguing stories and characters ahead of you. But to answer your question; I’ve decided to watch Gillmore Girls from the beginning. Fairly entertaining, but I think I might get bored thowards the end.

I’ve been wanted to ask someone about this show, so I’m glad you brought it up, Johanna! My stepfather keeps raving about The Wire and he isn’t even a TV show kind of person. After your comment I’ll definitely give it a chance as soon as I can.
As for Gilmore Girls, I used to love it when I was around 17 or 18! I thought Lorelai was so cool:)

When I lived in Paris, we didn’t have a TV, so we downloaded shows and Flight of the Conchords was one of the shows we watched all the time! I’ve been watching White Collar almost religiously lately. I’ve also been watching Pretty Little Liars and Greek. One of my old favourites though is 24, which is so different than the other shows I just listed. It’s quite suspenseful and such a good TV show.

I know this is an old show.. but Frasier! It was the best show on television! You should check it out!

Quite a lot: Once upon a time, Glee, Gossip Girl (even though it’s not good anymore I watch it out of habit), Pretty Little Liars and New Girl. I’m thinking to start Pan Am. And I’ll definatelly watch the next season of the “Game of Thrones” when it starts again.
I recommend “Pushing Daisies”, it’s kinda old and lasted only for 2 seasons but I think it’s one of my favourites, since it’s really whimsical and funny.
