Every now and then I get accused by the readers for having too little fashion stuff on Swedish Love Affair. What kind of fashion blog is that? – they wonder. Take Greger – he’s obviously got nothing to do with fashion and beauty!
Some readers also blame me for not being honest enough. Is my life all that perfect and colorful, and bright, and picturesque?
So here’s the answer to that. Swedish Love Affair is not a fashion blog. And it’s not a beauty blog either. This is a personal lifestyle blog, showing everyday beauty and encouraging others to see the allure in ordinary. It’s not about exhibiting the most prosaic sides of my life, it’s about me carrying out the best of it to you. It’s meant to inspire myself and others. And I hear it does.

Hello, Antonia! I just wanted to thank you for Swedish Love Affair! It’s my favorite blog by far, even though I only discovered it about a month ago. I love you style, and by that I mean not only clothes, but you attitude as well. You’re kind, but honest, and you are not afraid to share your opinion. Most blogs I follow are just “nice” but yours has a personality.
And you certainly inspire, every day, with every post. Thanks to you I’ve started to take care of myself, polish my nail – and I bought by first Dior quint last Friday! (I love it). I also notice things more, things people say for example.

Who would want to read a boring blog, with pessimistic views and boring pictures?
If people feel that your life and blog is too fun, fabulous, colourful and picturesque, and they need to complain about it, is there something missing in their life if somebody is not allowed to spread inspiration, beauty and optimism on the internet?
If nothing else, these people need to start their own blog, where they can share their joy and the beauty they see in their life, and stop complaining about somebody that is doing just this!
