Things I never ever wear

Shout Out Louds Mejeriet Lund Concert 10Some of the things I never wear:

- Flip-flops – not even on vacation
- Belly necklaces and ankle bracelets (maybe I live in the wrong climate for that)
- Toe rings!
- Earmuffs (never seen anyone above 12 who looks good in those, either)
- Crocs
- Body piercings. I don’t have any and I would never get one (the same goes for tattoos). Earrings are ok.
- Souvenir t-shirts. At least in public. If I sleep alone I sometimes wear a t-shirt which says “Niagara Falls”.
- Overalls. Something called Onepiece is extremely popular in Sweden at the moment, but I think it’s most suitable for kids.
- Cargo trousers
- Cowboy boots (but I know people who can totally pull them off!)

Oh no. I thought the onepiece was like a romper, which can be cute sometimes (thought not my thing) but… it’s a full body thing! Wow. How does one use the bathroom in that?

Here in Hawaii, flip flops are pretty much a staple piece for about 75% of the population. I own a few cute pairs, but I don’t wear them for work or anything official. Though, people who drag their feet is a huge huge pet peeve of mine!

We agree! One piece outfit looks cute on kids.

Much love from the SABO SKIRT girls!

    Thanks for sharing this!
I agree on all parts, except souvenir Ts :) I collect them! Then again, I seldom wear them in public.. :)

Totally agree with you on everything you’ve exposed. Only one exception “Flip-flops”, but only to go to the pool or the beach, never never never as shoes go out, or walk, or go to the movies or for coffee or go to college, and believe me there are people doing it and I hate it. I find it useful if you are in an area for the bathroom, but just for that. En cuanto a todo lo demás, estoy 100% de acuerdo contigo.

I think I agree with everything you said with the exception of flip flops. Everyone in southern california wears them even for quick runs to the market. I have a couple of pairs that I like to wear around the house and on vacation to the pool. Otherwise it’s cutes sandals for me.

I found this interesting to read. Are flip-flops popular where you live, or are you speaking from personal preference? I am from Northern California in the States and Rainbow flip-flops are very popular and have been for some time (I’m in my mid 20s and my parents wore them in the 70s). When I went out East to college I wore them often, and I could pick out the Californians on campus by their choice of footwear;)

Kat, flip-flops are quite popular here as well, during the summer, of course! I think they’ve been around for many years, just like in the US. And of course, this is just a personal list:) I don’t have a problem with other people wearing flip-flops, especially on the beach:)
