A breakfast consisting of different things from around the house. There are such things as mozzarella, meat loaf, French bread, tomatoes with basil and even a couple of boiled prawns (hiding behind the bread). And some fruit yogurt with that!

i love french bread.especially croissant and baguette!
Nobody would eat a breakfast like this in America! This is more like lunch to us. I can’t imagine eating prawns first thing, yuck! Perhaps that’s why we tend to be overweight, too many carbs.
I wouldn’t call this a typical European breakfast either, though;)
What do you usually eat for breakfast, Meredith?
I usually start with coffee with soy milk or a pot of green tea. Next, I’ll either make oatmeal with cinnamon (to lower the glycemic index), blueberries and a little more soy milk. Or I’ll make an English muffin with a little light butter, a touch of jam and a small piece of fruit such as an orange, apple or some grapes or strawberries. In summer I gorge on peaches, nectarines and fresh raspberries.
