There are so many of them

My latest video, of dancing Mavala nail polishes, has been very appreciated. I always enjoy getting comments and compliments (who doesn’t?), but this time I’m even more excited than usual. The Mavala team has also seen the video, and they loved it! Not only that, but they showed their appreciation by sending me a present.

They sent me a bunch of brand new nail polishes! Luckily, I have long since made up my mind about Mavala’s nail polishes, so this can’t make me biased. I’ve always known that they make great nail polishes, but now I see that there is more to it than that – they have heart and soul. The Mavala team were so thoughtful, and somehow made sure I didn’t already own any of the polishes they sent me. They must have done a research about it on the blog!

I’ll swatch these babies soon, I just have to decide on which one to start with.

Jeez! This is so cool, and I can’t tell you how jealous I am, but you deserve it and I’m really happy for you.
I think I would vote for you to start with Black Velvet, it looks cool!

Swoon Dahling.. do you think if I make a video of OPI they might gift me some?

    • Antonia says:

Hehe, I don’t know to be honest!:) When I was making this video (or it was Hannes actually, which makes it even more obvious!) I didn’t expect anything in return. In fact, it was a pure coincidence it was made with Mavala polishes, because at first I wanted to make it about different kinds of shampoos and soaps (but that video got erased somehow!). I very happy now, of course!

p.s. I want to make a vid like that, are they all still photos? It’s tres cool.

  7. cleeeo says:

Wow so jealous! Have fun with these! They really are the best.

    • Antonia says:

Yeah, it’s like a life supply of nail polish! This makes me kind of worried, I hope I will still be able to justify buying new ones when I feel like it:)

      • cleeeo says:

Haha, so true!! Didn’t think of it like that, will there ever really be a colour you HAVE to have now? I’m sure you can work a way around that though :)

        • Antonia says:

I can see how buying polishes might become a problem now! I’m might need some help with that maybe:) Before I got these I was planning to buy more of those Space polishes form Orly!..

  8. Susie says:

    Oh wow! Well done, you!

    • Antonia says:

Thanks, Susie! Although, I didn’t have to do much to get them! Especially when Hannes made the video for me. He is the one who deserves all the nail polish!

  9. Дарья says:

Вот это здорово! Поздравляю! :) Начни с Тропик или Лагуна;)

  10. Chiara says:

    What a nice gift!
I really like Mavala polishes too, but over here (the Netherlands), they only really sell the more safe pink and red colors (and in some places they are actually completely removing Mavala from the assortment). I love red and pink, but i own so many already. When i’m in Sweden this summer i’m going to buy some funkier colors! Because the blues look really good.
And there is always a reason to buy new polishes, don’t worry! ;-)

    • Antonia says:

Thanks for you kind words, Chiara! You know how obsessed with nail polishes I am:)
What place in Sweden are you going to visit?

      • Chiara says:

I’ve seen quite a lot of Sweden already. This will be my 6th holiday. I will go one week near Nyköping and one near Kalmar.

I’ve been to Lund as well. I think it would be an amazing city for studying. The first time i went to Sweden, i felt so at home and the feeling grows stronger every time. To be honest, i would love to move to your beautiful country. Unfortunately my boyfriend doesn’t want to. So now i will try to spend as many holidays in Sweden as i can :)

And i share your polish addiction!

        • Antonia says:

And I love the Netherlands!:) How come you’ve been to Sweden so often? Do you have friends or relatives here, or do you just like it that much? My favorite city here is Gothenburg. If you haven’t been there yet, then you definitely should come:)
Oh, boyfriends!.. Sometimes they just don’t know what’s best for them:))))

          • Chiara says:

No relatives or friends, i just fell in love :-p
I’ve been to Göteborg a few times. I like that is it not too big, it’s just right. I think Stockholm will be nice, but too big and busy for my taste. I’ve never liked Amsterdam either.
I’m already lucky that my boyfriend really likes Sweden as well, just not for moving. But who knows, maybe in the future… :)

    • Antonia says:

Oh, isn’t it! I want to start with a blue shade, but I just can’t make up my mind when there are so many of them! In a good way, of course:)

  12. Leia says:

You lucky, lucky girl! You will never have to buy nailpolish again!
