The best ways with your hands

Some easy tips to keep your hands soft and pretty:

- Wear rubber gloves whenever you do any cleaning around the house or do the dishes
- Apply hand cream after washing your hands
- Apply hand cream before going to bed. Ideally, put on cotton gloves afterwards.
- Get manicures – or do them yourself! If you’re a nail biter, this might be a way to get rid of that habit.
- Wear gloves outdoors if it’s cold
- Massage cuticle oil into your cuticles whenever you remember to
- Use sunscreen on your hands before you go out

I really should take better care of my hands. They’re not pretty to look at at all :/
I’ll try to follow your great list, starting tomorrow! Today I will buy cuticle oil for the first time in my life :)

Hi! Great list :) I could use some of these tips, especially with winter being just around the corner. Do you use sunscreen on your hands all year round?

I just bit off all my nails last night for the umpteenth time :( Recently bought some Deborah Lippman products that I wanted to try too. It’s not cool that my feet are in better shape than my hands! It’s an unconscious habit; I bite when I am especially absorbed in my reading. By the time I realize what I’m doing, it’s too late, the damage is done.

Great tips. The one I don’t really do but will begin to is the sunscreen on my hands. I never really think to do it. I’ve got my face covered in that department but never thought to also apply some to my hands.
