Taupes and purples from Kiko Milano

When I was in Paris I bought some new Kiko nail polishes. Kiko Milano is probably my favorite budget brand of nail polishes and I hope they will open a store in Sweden some day. As you can see, I was in the mood for purples and taupes this time!

Unfortunately, the hard water in Paris was a disaster for my poor nails! It made them dry and brittle and they’re still recovering from that trip. It’s getting better now that I’m back in Sweden, though, so I’m hoping to swatch these guys soon.

Meanwhile, a couple of old favorites from Kiko:

One can never have to many shades of purple and taupe…:).
Can I ask you how many coats of nail polish and top coat you use? You`re nails always look so shine and “3dimensional”….:)

      Sara, I agree!
Thank you! I always use two coats of nail polish and a coat of shiny drying top coat. My favorites are the ones by Mavala and Sally Hansen.

  3. Rosso Prugna is so gorgeous. But other shades are beautiful, too. I have to try their nail polishes for sure.

I never thought of the water being the reason that my nails always break when they get a bit longer (okey, well, too long actually), I always thought it was because of my diet … But that would make sense as the water here is very hard too.
Anyway, the colours are very nice, the blue is my favourite!

    • Antonia says:

I think the water might be the reason for me:( It’s the same when I’m in London. What about your diet? Maybe you need more calcium?

      • Anaïs says:

When I was young I drank a lot of milk, then I stopped for a while and then I started again but it didn’t seem to affect my nails (good or bad), so I assumed it must be something else … My hair is very dry too so it makes sense it would be the water!
