Springtime is spring roll time

Last night I made spring rolls with rice paper again. I can’t believe I don’t make them more often! A friend of mine thinks they look very awkward (I’m not going to write what’s awkward about them, but with a tiny bit of imagination you will see it too), but I think they’re great. So crisp and light, and easy to make!

If you want to make these too, look for this kind of rice paper (there’s also a good recipe in the comments to that post).

They look very cute to me.

I used to eat warm spring rolls, either fried or steamed, but last week I discovered thai cold spring rolls. They were light and refreshing!

I don’t make spring rolls at home, I never occurred to me. They’re so easy to order take away ;)

They look so fresh I think :) Got me in the mood for Asian food!

I bought some rice paper like this from my local Asian supermarket today, will definitely be making some of these!
