Speaking in front of an audience

I’m right now on a break between two one hour long presentations (in Swedish and in English) about sustainable development in front of an audience of about 50 people.

I’ve always been the best at holding oral presentations, because I’m very good at catching the audience’s attention and keeping it interesting through out the whole speech. I’m never nervous or worried about speaking in public. My job as a guide has given me the opportunity to perfect my skills in rhetorics and performance, too.

Wow! Sustainable development. That is impressive. Was this for a project? Sweden is so green I love it. And kudos on your great public speaking skills. I have slowly gotten rid of the nerves over the years thanks to the number of presentations in college and then with work but I have to say it took a while.

Lucky you – I hate speaking in public…

That’s great to hear! Public speaking was always enough to send me into a panic attack. Even with a public speaking class in high school I never got better.

I’m glad to hear you don’t get nervous! I’ve never had a problem speaking, performing, or doing anything in front of an audience – in school we were taught to do this from an early age so even those who were shy managed to overcome their fears!
