Saturday has been pretty slow so far. I’ve been reading in bed all day, and then I had an early dinner at a place right by my house.
I guess I’ll be going out tonight, though, as usual. I got questions about why there are never any party pics on the blog, even though I go out so often. Well, the answer is simple: my Nikon is a bit bulky to bring to a club, plus I could spill a drink on it or something. Also, I’m a very energetic dancer so I don’t even bring a handbag when I know there is going to be a dance floor!
I’ve noticed many new readers have been visiting Swedish Love Affair daily during the week – I’m glad you like it and welcome!

A weekend is always better when you fit in some time to read. What titles have you been reading lately?
It’s been mostly school stuff, and some Doctorow. What about you?
I’ve been ignoring my school lately. Whoops.
I just finished reading “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant. Never heard of Doctorow before – what would you recommend?
It has been a slow Saturday for me too. I managed to get a mini haul done, but other than that everything is moving really slow.
Sometimes you just need days to relax=)
I have a compact digital camera for use on nights out, and although it’s not quite the same, I find it’s still nice to be able to record the party side of things in life too!
Good idea! There’s always some friend who carries a small camera in my case=)
I recently found your site and am already addicted. You have a very beautiful perspective of the world! So refreshing.
Still loving your site Antonia:) Keep it up!! And i’m looking forward to your Valentines related posts=)
Have a fab weekend!

Wow. These pictures feels really odd. Of course they aren’t but it’s just really funny seeing you sitting at one of my favourite coffe shops (I live in Lund, I am not a stalker;)) wearing a dress exactly like one of my favourite dresses. Also your hair looks quiet similar to mine which for some reason works quite well in confusing my brain to think that it’s me (? Yes.).
Additionally I must tell you that I am SO jealous of you making the genius move of buying the dress in multiple colours. I found mine for a ridiculous reduced price when they still had all the colours in but I still only got the green one.
I hope you don’t mind me telling rather pointless (and rather creepy) stories! I just found your blog and I must say that I am thrilled to find such a inspiring and high-quality blog by a blogger not only living in the same town as me but also taking lots of beautiful pictures of the place. I must say you have already given me some great inspiration. For a concrete example, you have definitely inspired me to take a walk into town tomorrow to buy some much needed nail care equipment. As for that, do you have any tips on nail polish removers? The ones I get always seem to be either really ineffective or drying out the cuticles.
Thank you for an excellent blog!
Dear Sarah!
Thank you so much for your kind words and your absolutely uncreepy stories! It’s so nice to get a reader from my own city! If you ever see me around, please don’t hesitate to come and say hi:))
Thank you for your compliments to my photography and the blog! I’m hoping to see more of you here!
Yours,
Antonia
Ps. As for the nail polish remover, I use the one from Mavala:) I hope you found some nice nail polishes!
