I recently stayed at a Scandic hotel in Gothenburg called Ruby. The hotel had a theme, which was the color red. For instance, the whole staff wears something red, the restaurant food is as red as possible, and all the rooms have names that have something to do with the color red, like the Red Sea or Ferrari.
Our room was number 319. It’s a double room with a view of Gothenburg’s main avenue, and it’s called Red Hot Chili Peppers.
On the other hand, the whole idea of a red-themed hotel makes me think of the REDЯUM-scene in The Shining. I wonder if they’ve thought about that?
