Here’s how to make my rose petal jam:
Pick lots of rose petals and rinse under cold water (to get rid of any small insects). Sprinkle some lemon juice over the petals. Next, make a simple syrup of sugar and water. Once the sugar has dissolved and the syrup has reached boiling point, add the petals and let the mixture simmer for about an hour.
Let it cool down, and then let it simmer for another hour.
