My mum brought me a package of quail eggs last week. And maybe I’m being silly, but I just can’t find a way to eat them! They’re so tiny and cute that I can’t bring myself to breaking them in order to make a sunny side up breakfast or simply boiling them.
What a dilemma.

I recommend putting them in soup
You can also try serving them (boiled and cut in half) as a salad starter with pieces of pickled herring fillets and finely shredded leek, sprinkled with olive oil.
