Preparing for the winter

I’m preparing for the upcoming winter by buying seed balls for birds. I’m going to hang them outside my windows and on the trees around my house. It’s getting colder every day – and harder to find food in the city.

Maybe you could hang out a couple of seed balls too if you live somewhere cold?

PS. I hope you haven’t missed my post about the Great Tits?

It’s a great idea and so sweet you look for animals. Here in Spain is not necessary because it never feels too cold, of course, never as in your country and the animals have no problem finding food. But I think a great initiative. Antonia A 10!

I keep 2-3 birdseed feeders out front and back year round. I love to watch the different birds that come at different times of the year. It’s soothing and helps one feel that they are giving back to the Earth instead of constantly taking from it.

What a wonderful idea!! I’ve never heard of these. I think I’ll go look for some tomorrow to hang outside my window. :)
