These two items have been my favorites in my make-up bag lately. I’m talking about Clinique Lash power mascara (long-wearing formula) in Black onyx and Clinique Cream shaper for eyes in Black diamond. I’ve been wearing this duo a lot during the past couple of weeks, it’s just such a perfect combo!

What’s so good about the mascara? Great separation, no clumps whatsoever, no flakes, nice brush… but you’ve heard it all before. The greatest thing about it is that it’s one of the best “tube” mascaras out there.

So, what is a “tube” mascara? A tube mascara doesn’t just color your lashes. It actually encases every lash in a tiny black tube and works like lash extensions! And no ugly white primer! And, it lasts through rain, swimming pool, tears, sweat, oil based cleansers (!). All you need to remove it is some warm water – and the tiny tubes come off in a second! (Kanebo 38 C Silk performance works in the same way)

And what’s so good about the eyeliner? The color is not your blackest black, it’s a dark grey or gunmetal with silver shimmer, which is very flattering for everyone (unlike black). It’s so soft you almost can’t feel it touching your eyelids at all, no pulling and dragging. And it stays right where you put it forever. In fact, all Clinique cream shapers do.

This is a dream team.

This sounds fantastic! I actually bought that Clinique mascara for a friend of mine just a couple of weeks ago. Now I wish I had gotten one for myself as well!
Thanks for a really nice and inspiring review!

Great review! I am so getting these things! I remember seeing this Clinique mascara on sale the other day, but now I can’t remember which store it was in.. I’ll have to search all over town to find it, but I won’t mind=) Hope they haven’t sold out yet.

    Happy Tuesday

I love Clinique mascaras and cream shapers, my favorite cream shaper is chocolate lustre. I think it’s the most beautiful brown I’ve seen in my life =)

Oh, I KNOW!=))) I’ve had the chocolate one for a very long time, it looks so good=) But now I’ve discovered this one, too. I’d also like to have the plummy one, though.

Are you paid to advertise these products? It sounds like a sales spin. If you are paid…Is that possible on blogs? And how can I get into that?
