Lilacs are in bloom all over the city now, and I just can’t get enough of their intoxicating smell. I’ve told you previously that my favorite flower is mimosa, and later I said I liked peonies best. But then again, I love lilacs above all. I certainly think so.

Hi there it’s really been since I post any comment ….but these pictures are so stunning ,I couldn’t hold myself. I am also waiting for my lilac plant to bloom some fragrant lilacs …hoping it’s warmer soon!
I love the color on your lids too. It’s definitely a nice contrast to the purple lilacs!

Yeah it’s like these lilacs bloom and go in a poof….wish these were evergreen!!:-)
when i look at these images i can actually smell the lilacs. My favorite. I grew up in Russia surrounded by lilacs.

I’ve always loved the scent of lilacs. We planted a bush at our last house, but my lack of gardening skills meant it never bloomed. I’m going to try again though, because spring just isn’t the same without lilacs!
