Natural eye make-up look in brown

I got some requests to write about what I use to create a natural eye make-up look.
In my every day routine I like to do a mono eyeshadow look, which means I only use one eyeshadow all over my lid. For that I prefer to use different shades of brown, both cool and warm.
I think there’s a brown for everyone.

The eyeshadow above is my favorite beauty purchase ever. I use it alone on my eyes almost every day, and the result is more beautiful than what an advanced make-up look could ever give me! It’s called Satinee Creme Eye Colour in Cocoa Velour by Laura Mercier.

I apply it either with my fingers or with an eyeshadow brush. It lasts all day.

Another fool-proof option is this double jumbo eye pen from the summer collection 2011 Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder. It’s called Shadow stick duo in Gold Bronze 01, and you can’t go wrong with it!

For everyday use I prefer eyeshadows in cream and mousse textures. If I’m using a powder shadow, I always put it on a base. My favorite eyeshadow base is Eye Makeup Base by Lumene.

Thanks! Whenever you see me in a post, I’m probably wearing one of these:) Unfortunately, at the moment I don’t have the time to experiment with make-up every day!

Beautiful! Didn’t know Laura Mercier has intersting products like that, i’ve got that pupa duo that you have too. Would love to see how each and one of those work for you. How about a black liner on top of those, are you using it too?

I absolutely love Laura Mercier products! I use her mineral makeup everyday wear and love it. I haven’t tried the eyeshadow cream you showed yet, but I think I will.
