A swatch of yellow nail polish inspired by Mimosa by Chanel, summer 2011 collection
I’ve never really been crazy about yellow. And I would never had thought I’d ever wear yellow on my nails. But Peter Philips (the creative director for Chanel Makeup) is one person who just might make me do it. Recently I saw the first pictures of summer 2011 make-up collection by Chanel and the nail polish Mimosa, a crazy lime yellow shade. I know it’s still January and everything, but I feel like trying on this trend while waiting for swatches and promo pictures.
This swatch of yellow nail polish is a mix of Fiercely Fiona and Shrek by OPI, and some shimmer. We’ll see how close I got with this=)
I went through a yellow nailpolish phase a few summers ago. When I gave it up, I swore I would never go back… But Chanel can make anything look so lovely. We’ll see what happens

I tried orange for the first time last year and loooooved it.
I used to wear it when I was 13, and I still do sometimes=)
