Today me and Hannes have been out to dinner, at Klostergatans Vin och Delikatess in Lund, which would translate into Wine and Delicacies of Monastery Street. This is probably the nicest restaurant in the city I live in. It’s one of those restaurants that just get everything right – the atmosphere is great, the food and wine are excellent and the staff is very professional and friendly. Plus, our waiter looked just like Sean Connery, and who wouldn’t want a James Bond waiter?
For starters we had lightly smoked trout with trout roe and apple sauce. For our main courses I had the fillet mignon (medium rare) and Hannes went for the sirloin steak (rare). Then we had desert, which was maybe the best part of our three-course-meals. It was marinated rhubarb with and lemon cream.
