One day by David Nicholls on my Amazon Kindle

Oh, I’m so in love with my new Kindle! It’s a perfect gift for someone like me (yes, it was a gift from Hannes. This one.). I often find myself carrying 3 or 4 books in my bag, plus all the books for the uni.
And I, like many skeptics out there, love the feel, the smell and the look of a “real” book, but in our day and age I honestly see no reason to choose between the formats. I’ll have them both, thanks! Although, to take it further, audio books is not my thing at all.

Right now I’m reading things by Iris Murdoch and Umberto Eco. And One day by David Nicholls.

I debated that one but i donno if I would like the format or not. How do you honestly think it compares to reading a book?

Absolutely true… you never have to choose.. you can have both for sure, and it is for sure much more practical! I have a dream of one day having my own little library where my favorite books are collected :)

I have been wanting an e-bookreader for ages, but never gotten around to getting one. My best friend has one though, and I’ve borrowed it on occasion. It really works, too. It’s so soft on the eyes, especially if you compare to reading on the iPad.
    I’ll get one soon!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees no reason to choose between formats. I have a bookshelf full of the “real deal”, but I can also toss my kindle in a travel bag.
    Perfection.
