About two minutes from where we live, there’s a small village called Jakriborg. It’s built in the pre-industrial style of 19th century, but at the same time contains elements of New Urbanism. This means that everything is in a walkable distance, no parking spots in the center, the streets are narrow and cosy and there’s almost no traffic. At the first glance you might even think a time machine has brought you to a medieval street. It’s hard to believe Jakriborg is only about 10 years old!

The first photo is amazing! It looks almost surreal, like a dream or fantasy and not an actual village! Here’s hoping to see more photos from Jakriborg in the (near) future!
Wow!
The first photo looks like painting. I would like to see more about this area:-)
OMG this village reminds me so much of Hogsmeade, in Harry Potter you know! Or maybe it’s be who’s obsessed, I just saw the last movie and now I’m re-reading the books
Anyway, the first photo is incredible, looks like a postcard!
Fantastic antonia! I appreciate your scenery shots. Beautiful!
Cupcake
Just like everyone else said…..the first photo is amazing!
Where in Sweden is this? Never heard about it before and I really can’t believe it’s only 10 yrs! Great architecture!
Så himla häftigt! Och håller med övriga kommentarer om att den första bilden ser tecknad ut. Himla fint
I can hardly believe this place is only ten years old…! I think we need to build more places like this, it looks so friendly and charming
