Here is a funny ad about Sweden. That’s what I told you, right?

PS. This guy really reminds me of Hannes.

  2. Jasmina says:

    Ahhhahahhahah awesome. ”We fika everyday!”

  3. Laura says:

Omg I laughed so hard! So glad you wrote a post about fika (I’d be lost otherwise)!

  4. Danique says:

Haha, I’ve studied for half a year in Sweden and Fika became my favorite thing in the world. I took it back with me to Holland and introduced it here to my friends :) Love fika!

  5. Oh my, I love this so much. Thanks a lot for posting :)

Hahaha that’s hilarious :) I love the concept of fika, will try to establish it at my office :)

  7. I love this! My morsan does not use the internet but when I show her this video she is going to crack up. I use to fika at my mormor’s every summer with apelsin, not coffee, which was why I was a little chunky growing up. She always had the best homemade rolls!

Loved it!! Had to share with my Swedish boyfriend, he loves all ads that poke fun at us Americans :)

  9. Leia says:

Haha! Loved this. I’m glad you explained to us beforehand what fika means.

    Hi Antonia,
I have been reading your blog for the past month now, and have really enjoyed it. I loved your previous excerpt on Swedish FIKA, and have made that carrot cake twice–all who ate it love it, especially me.

Since I am half Swedish, and love sweets and good kaffe anyway, FIKA is a great way to keep in touch with my ‘roots’ (we Americans always love to say where we come from…) and a great way to have a pause in the day. Thank you for your blog.

Annika, thank you for your comment! I’m glad my carrot cake worked, really!
Have you ever been to Sweden?

      • Annika says:

        Hi Antonia,

Thanks for replying back. Yes, I went to Sweden when I was about 13 years old, and the only thing I knew how to say in Swedish was “Jag vill ha lite glass” (sp?). I hope to go back this fall and visit some family friends in Gothenberg.

Did you know there are some more Johan videos? There is one OFFICE one that is very entertaining.

PS–your new camera lens is taking awesome photos–love the flowers!

I knew about the swimming, I knew about the Fika thanks to youbut, I didn’t know about that massage! No wonder sewdish girls have nice bums. :)

  13. Araceli says:

Love this! I can’t stop laughing.

After your tutorial on Fika this was quite funny.
I need to make a button that says ‘I fika twice a day’.
