Home Swedish Home

Hello! I hear some of you are already having a love affair with this blog and I can’t judge you, as I’m in love with it too! But after all, this is a Swedish Love Affair – and what’s more Swedish than IKEA? IKEA is probably one of the symbols of the country, along with H&M and ABBA. And of  course everyone in Sweden has some things (or a lot of things!) from IKEA in their home. But what if IKEA was your home? We tried it!

hahaha, you’re so funny! customers and workers must have been staring at you so much!!! didnt they say anything????

    • Antonia says:

Indeed! Yes, they commented on me all they time, but they’ve been kind! Also, I think I helped them to increase the sales while I was there. People suddenly realized how incredibly comfortable those beds looked=)

Hahahaha, vilka härliga bilder :D . FÖR bäst :D .

  5. This is such a great photo shoot! How did it feel to “live” at IKEA?
I make regular visits to IKEA…I wonder if the hotdogs taste them same in Sweden and Canada. No trip is complete without a coffee or hotdog.

p.s. Nick Hornby is one of my favourite authors as well. I’m currently reading Juliet, Naked.

Thank you, Jordana! I know exactly what you mean, I always have an ice cream there!

I’m so glad to hear you’re reading Juliet, Naked! I read it twice when it came out and I even made my bf read it! I loved it, it makes think about stuff in some way. The power of a person’s previous success and, well, the power of Internet. I’m curious about your opinion about it=)

you’ve inspired me to pick up a few new pieces from the nearby Ikea to change my space for the winter (considering that I’ll be spending much more time indoors to escape the chilly air).

    Great project :)
Here, in Serbia, we can only dream about Ikea coming here some day :(
It makes me so sad, day after day… In the meantime we can order some little Ikea things, but it’ s never enough…
Anyway, I’m wondering – how did you feel when you came home after this shooting…? :) ))
