I miss you, you miss I

Yesterday I got these cute cups as a present from my Godmother. I love them! The china is of really nice, see-through quality, and they’re shaped to fit together. They remind me of those split heart necklaces some people wear.

The grammar on one of the cups may be a bit off, but the message is crystal clear.

ha, ha–the grammar is defenitely something the artists of these cuties should have worked a bit more on, but it’s the message that counts, right? And, the message is pretty comprehensible. :)

To be honest, I can’t imagine how they can put so much work into the design and the packaging (the cups were packaged in a lacked wooden box and factory wrapped in pure silk…) and not think about the text! I was kind of embarrassed when I first read it, if you know what I mean!..

Oh wow, they’re so cute! I wish I had tea cups like that! I like the drawings on them, they’re soooo lovely (even if the grammar is kind of strange ;-) ) !!! Now you can have enjoyable tea partys just as Alice In Wonderland used to have. :)

I’m not sure it was a mistake – it makes the phrases palindromic, which is fine, a bit quirky. The cups are beautiful, I love them. I am very envious.

Perhaps you’re right, but it’s also pretty likely that a Chinese person wrote it in their own grammar style. There is no word for “me” in Chinese, so you have to use the “I” every time you’re referring to yourself.
      Anyway, really lovely cups!

That’s so funny, I also thought that it was meant to be palindromic so I actually found them endearing. I would bring these out any time I had company over =)

Really? I didn’t know that they were chinese – but still, I don’t think it matters.
