I like the thin ones

Hannes has been teaching me how to make pancakes today. He is really good at making them so I don’t really need to learn it too, but still, I wanted to try. My problem is that I either make them really thick (and I only like the very thin ones), or I make them fairly thin, but they don’t turn out round..

His are perfect, though.

Jag kan inte vända på plättar så de brukar se ut som en klibbig deghög som ser ut mera som en boll när jag är klar :”)

Oh, I feel very strong pancake cravings now! Unfortunately, my bf is not very good at making them, but my mum is! I love my pancakes with strawberry jam<3<3<3

I love the thin ones too! But after 2 years in America I’ve learned to like the american pancakes – preferably with maple syrup and fresh blueberries (and a little bit of butter as well)! Yum!

Okay, I don’t know who made that particular pancake, but it looks delicious! Hmm…I am so hungry now! You can actually buy pancake molds, you know, although they work better with the thicker American-style ones. Having said that, I don’t mind how imperfect a pancake looks as long as it tastes good! :)

Great post! I love pancakes, especially thin crepe-like ones! What do you usually have on them?

  7. Oh, those looks great. I love pancakes because there are endless possibilities what to eat them with…. Mmmm

I only recently learned how to make pancakes and I actually just use one kind of mix. Looks like you make them from scratch? Wow! :) And, by thin pancakes, are you referring to crepes? I vary the thickness of mine, but that’s because the mix I use is blueberry and I eat them plain, no syrup. And, you’re right-they’re better when they are made for you! :D

No, I’m not referring to crepes, but Swedish pancakes are similar to them. I like them so thin, that they’re almost see-through=) But they’re much harder to make than the thick ones, unfortunately!
And yes, in my family we always make the batter. And when I met Hannes I also learned his family recipe=)
