Shu Uemura eye lash curler (here with two pink powder brushes from Make Up Store and Too Faced)

Girls, I made one of my best beauty purchases yet! It’s been said before, but the Shu Uemura lash curler is simply the best. It reaches every lash and curls it without pulling it!

Some tips I got from the Shu Uemura make-up artist on how to curl your lashes:

- Always curl your lashes before applying mascara.

- Don’t heat up your eyelash curler with a blow dryer! A good lash curler should work without heat, and heating it up you’re risking to hurt your eyelids.

- Clamp your lashes near the roots, in the middle and by the end for the best curve.

- Once you clamp, don’t pull! You don’t want to pull out your lashes (my friend once did that).

- Don’t curl your bottom lashes, it’s just not worth it.

Now you know how to use an lash curler in the best way. It’s well known Shu Uemura makes the best lash curler on the market, but it’s still hard to believe how great it is until you try it!

Oh yes, Shu Uemura is a good brand indeed, its Japanese so i guess thats why its hard to find in Sweden? It’s popular over here in Hong Kong too. Im also using a Japanese branded eye lash curler named shiseido maquillage and its really good! u should check it out if they got it in Sweden!=)

I don’t have a Shu Uemura last curler (I think mine is Revlon) and I never use it! I’m going to use these tips and try it out tonight. Thank you!

I really want one of those!

  4. Cee says:

I’m afraid my lashes may be a lost cause… unlike all of my other hair, including my eyebrows, they are poker straight and don’t respond to anything that is supposed to curl them. But maybe Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler would be a good last ditch effort? I may pick one up next time I’m in Sephora :)

I’ve heard about heating them but that just seemed too scary for me! And mine works well without it anyway….I tried out curling in different places and I noticed quite the difference! I used to curl the middle only, d’oh!
