I’m having a slow Sunday today. I’ve been to a new macaroon café and had some Halloween macaroons (pumpkin and liquorice). I’ve also done some basic grocery shopping.
And now I’m having over a Spanish friend who’s about to show me how to make real sangria! I’m really exited about this.

I bought:
- Fresh rosemary
- Two types of cauliflower
- Clementines
- An apple
- Chamomile tea
- Melon seeds
- Aged cheese
- Coconut yogurt

Those macaroons look so delicious! Also, I love your groceries. Everything looks super fresh and tasty
Sounds like my kind of café
I’ve never tried pumpkin macaroons, or liquorice for that matter. My favorite kind is with pistachio!
Sangria? Hahaha, the drink of the devil! It’s really misleading and so sweet that it goes immediately to head.
Really all you need is:
- Red Wine.
- Sugar.
- Crushed ice.
- Orange slices, lemon and other fruits.
- Cinnamon.
- A fizzy drink (I prefer lemon Fanta or 7up).
- And a splash of brandy.
Say hello to your Spanish friend of me, and I hope you like the sangría
I love reading other people’s shopping lists – good inspiration for when I go to the store and wander aimlessly wondering what I should be buying and eating!
Those macaroons looks just so yummy, I love licorice macaroons but never tried pumpkin flavored, how were they?
