For the soul and the figure

The university library is updating their catalog and is giving away a lot of old books. Among a lot of outdated ones about politics I found The Bell by Iris Murdoch. Some of you know that Iris Murdoch is one of my favorite writers, so of course I couldn’t leave her behind.

Also, I’ve just baked a batch of mini cinnamon buns. So now I have both a good read and something sweet to go with it!

I love when libraries have book sales. They never give them away here but it is never more than a dollar so it’s always a good deal. Nothing like a good book and some cinnamon buns. Yum! These look so good. What are the white bits on the tops?

Those are large bits of sugar! That’s just what you put on the top of a cinnamon bun in Sweden:)

That’s a really great idea! I think that’s better than the loads of frosting they top them with in the states. I always have to get my frosting on the side because I find the glob of frosting a bit too much.
