Fettisdagen

Today is officially the day when you’re supposed to eat semla in Sweden! It’s called Fettisdagen. I’ve been invited to some friends for for fika and some freshly baked semlas. Delicious!

    (Not sure how popular reddit is in sweden. Just in case, its a side were people vote on their favorite news, jokes, etc…Fettisdagen made it to the front page today)

    We also have “Fat Tuesday” today in Austria. But instead of semla we eat doughnuts, yam-yam. :D Is there a carnival in Sweden this week?
