Fake fruits of Italian marble in Rome, Italy

Fake fruits of Italian marble in Rome, Italy. Apples, peaches, apricots, figs, strawberries, plums etc

Fruits for sale! In Rome there are shops where you can buy marble fruits. You can choose among apples, peaches, apricots, figs, strawberries and many other fruits! Most of them look perfectly real, having uneven shapes and little natural-looking flaws here and there. You can almost taste them, but remember, they’re rock-hard!
These would make a great souvenir to bring back from your trip or a present for a friend.

Or else, if you’re one of those people who like practical jokes, you could place a marble apple in a bowl among real apples. In that case, however, be ready to pay for the consequences.
