Dyed silk dress

The destroyed dress

The other day I happened to completely destroy a silk dress while washing it. Afterwards I did everything I could to save it, but nothing would help. So I decided to dye it!
I like how the color turned out not completely dark, but somewhat transparent, and the chain pattern shows through.

Oh my goodness– how patient and crafty you are! If this were to have happened to me I would have thrown a fit and tossed it out my window in surrender.

  7. I hope you show a picture of you wearing it because I don’t think it quite shows what it looks like :D . How did you ruin it? Aren’t silk dresses supposed to be washed by hand? It looks like it has spots from fruit or something.
