Hannes just got home from work and he brought these two donuts with him. My favorite is the one with chocolate, and I know it’s Hannes’ favorite kind too. But instead of getting two chocolate donuts, he insists on getting two different ones for the sake of variation. I’m not like that. I would simply have gotten two chocolate donuts, since that is both mine and Hannes’ favorite flavor.
There is a Swedish saying, “omväxling förnöjer”, which roughly translates into “diversification delights”. I think that’s where he gets this behavior from.
