Coffee with Laura Mercier

coffee with laura mercier blushLoving make-up is one thing. Chasing and possessing limited edition make-up pieces is something else. My favorite type of make-up is seasonal collections of the leading high-end brands, particularly their limited edition items. That’s what turns me on the most (hm, make-up wise anyway!). These items are always more creative and unusual than the regular line – in fact, true masterpieces can be found in seasonal collections (and if you’re not fast enough, the only place you can buy them later is ebay, for the retail price times 4!). Sweden is always a little late with getting out seasonal collections in the stores, so that’s what I’m looking for right now. For example, aren’t the latest pearly Chanel nail polishes to die for?

Ooh, that’s a nice collection you’ve got there! I didn’t know what pearly chanel nail polish you were talking about, so I had to Google for it, and you are totally right! I really hope they will sell where I live!

I love limited editions, too! I mean they cost about the same as the normal ones, but they feel so much more exclusive.
I am really curious about Chanel’s up-coming yellow nail polish, wonder if it’s going to set a new trend or if it’s going to be a fiasco! At least I will buy it, if I get the chance=)

I love buying limited edition make-up, but I never learn… Although I know it’s only around for one season, I’m always, always disappointed when I can’t replace my favourite colours :(
