No nail polish looks good when matching clothes, except Particuliere 505 by Chanel. It’s so versatile that actually goes with anything without looking matchy-matchy.
Particuliere 505 is a limited edition, but for those of you looking for a dupe there’s an exact same shade in H&M cosmetics called Dust & Diamonds. Check it out! It has a much better staying power than the real thing, too.

Sally Hansen & Rimmell also have great dupes for it too!
I’ve heard about them, yeah. I haven’t seen them, though=) This one is exactly the same, just so you know;)
Plus, Chanel polishes have a horrible staying power on me:(
I’ve heard that about Chanel’s polishes. That’s also disappointing especially considering the brand’s reputation as ‘high-end.’ And, the price! Ugh! Yet another reason to go the ‘dupe’ route!
I don’t have this one, but I absolutely love how your nails look! Is it Limited Edition in Europe? In Hawaii, I’m pretty sure we still have this one!
It’s LE everywhere, but it’s been re-promoted in Chanel’s holidays 2010 collection, that’s why it’s around again=)
Lucky you living in Hawaii!! Ohhh.
I love it!
Those who are interested in a dupe can also check out Barry M Dusky Mauve.
Thanks, I’ve been curious about those polishes – I see bloggers rave about them all the time!
You’re right, it looks really good! Thanks for the tip, Antonia! I will definitely try out this H&M nail polish. I have very good experiences with their nail polishes, I even find them better than Chanel. Sometimes the colors might be a bit off the mark, but the same can be said for any nail polish line (have you seen the Katy Perry for OPI line, it’s just awful). But H&Ms’ are very easy to apply and the staying power is more than enough.
I agree about Katy Perry for OPI! I was really disappointed about it too..
It’s a really lovely color!
I love it too, thanks!
How are you taking care of your cuticles? My hands are really suffering this winter! I have beautiful nails in summer but this first German winter is really making it tough!
Oh, what can I say! I don’t have this problem but my bf does. I recommend using hand cream and always wearing gloves outdoors. As for the cuticles, maybe a cuticle oil?
xo
I love it when people do this kind of a post! Once I have a purse, and contents to fill it, I want to do post.
Crap I commented on the wrong post.
