Boots Botanics Organic Face Nourishing Eye Make Up Remover

I wanted to show you my favorite make-up remover. It’s called Boots Botanics Organic Face Nourishing Eye Make Up Remover. You’re supposed to use it to remove eye make-up, but I use it for the whole face. And I’m so happy with this product!

It has a consistency of a soft oily gel. In the evening I apply it directly onto my dry face and massage for a few seconds before rinsing it off with warm water. It removes all the dirt and leaves no unpleasant residue whatsoever (unlike other oil based removers I’ve tried). Plus, it has a soothing and softening effect on my skin, thanks to the jojoba and olive oil. Its ingredient list is impressively short – only six things including the oils!
You must try it if you see it somewhere.

  1. Anastasia says:

What other oil-based cleansers have you already tried? Does it remove waterproof make-up as well?

    • Antonia says:

      Hi, Anastasia!
I’ve tried Ultrabland, Shu Uemura, Bobbi Brown, Sephora’s, some Asian ones and a couple more.
Yes, it does. Although I never use it:)

  2. Ia says:

Oh, so it’s the best..? Where can I find it? :)

  3. Anastasia says:

Wow! I was just going to buy the one from Bobby Brown. ;) Which one do you personally like better? :)

    • Antonia says:

I personally didn’t like BB that much (and haven’t seen too many good reviews on it, either:(). Check out Take the day off balm by Clinique, it’s nice too:)

  4. Moira says:

I love Boots. Their cleansing products saved my face.
One (semi related) question: Have you ever tried any BB Creams (Beblish – or Blemish – Balm)? If so, did it work for you? If not, and you have no idea what I’m talking about, then these two videos should explain what BB Cream is:

    • Antonia says:

Moira, what are your favorite products from Boots? Personally, I liked everything I’ve tried from them.
As for the BB creams, I have these:
Skin79 is not my favorite one. I find it too thick and hard to spread. The BB Balm by Etude House you can see that post is really nice, though. I use it almost every day as under eye concealer. I’m really curious to try some of the non-Asian bb cream, like Clinique, Garnier or Estee Lauder. Have you tried any?

  5. I have this too, but I’ve not tried it on my whole face. I’ve since switched to a Lush brand because I could use it on my whole face, so now I know what I’m going to do when my face wash runs out! ^^
