It’s been my birthday for about twenty minutes now, and I’ve already received my first present. It’s a macro lens for my camera!!! This lens is the best one of its kind, and of course it’s from Hannes! This is one of my oldest dreams come true. I’m so excited about it that I don’t think I’ll be able to fall asleep tonight.

Curious to hear of any special Swedish birthday traditions you have – in America you’d get a spanking for every year old you are! (a silly, slightly irreverent tradition) And, of course, lots of cake.
