A Saturday in September

Today has been a nice and sunny Saturday. I went downtown to buy a birthday present for an old friend, who turns 33 today (but the birthday dinner is tomorrow). After some browsing around I bought a white cabel-stitch sweater (I almost bought one for myself as well, but they didn’t have it in small in store). I also wanted to buy something for her six-year-old son and ended up buying a slimy frog toy, which can be thrown around to great amusement.
At home I watched Northanger Abbey, a movie based on one of Jane Austen’s novels, which I read a couple of months ago.
