Nothing spectacular about today’s look obviously, but I’m absolutely crazy about this nail polish! It’s Blue My Mind by H&M.
And if you’re interested in getting this shade I think there’s a dupe by Sally Hansen called Pacific Blue and a very similar one by Nails Inc. in Baker Street!
My mum brought me a package of quail eggs last week. And maybe I’m being silly, but I just can’t find a way to eat them! They’re so tiny and cute that I can’t bring myself to breaking them in order to make a sunny side up breakfast or simply boiling them.
What a dilemma.
Here’s what I got in my GlossyBox for September 2012:
ANATOMICALS – Don’t Just Clean It Woman, Scrub It (75 ml)
A walnut body scrub that smells of grapefruit and lathers like a shower gel.
COWSHED – Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream (50 ml)
An eco-friendly hand cream with grapefruit oil and coriander. I always love to try a new hand cream!
FIGS & ROUGE – 100% Natural Organic Balm (full size, 8 ml)
A balm which can be used anywhere on your body, but mostly lips, cuticles and dry areas. The ingredients are all natural, and the container is really cute!
BALANCE ME – Pure Skin Face Wash (50 ml)
Another natural product with grapefruit oil. This one is by the Brittish brand Balance Me, which I hadn’t even heard of until now!
Normally, I’m very cautious when it comes to skincare, because my skin is quite sensitive and can be prone to misbehaving. But I must admit that I’ve discovered some true must-haves through the GlossyBox service!
BIOSILK – Silk Therapy
A hair treatment for hair, which is supposed to strengthen and revive damaged hair. My hair is actually pretty good at the moment, but who doesn’t want a better hair?
The bottle is really small, perfect to bring on my upcoming Paris trip!
We have the most beautiful autumn right now! It’s warm, sunny and blue-skied, with an absolutely breathtaking palette of trees. This is the way I love it the most, and it just reminds me all over again why autumn is my favorite season of the year.
I wish you guys were here to see it.
The other day I got presented with a pair of new earrings with Swarovski crystals. These are Melody Drops earrings by Miranda Konstantinidou for Konplott, which is a pretty famous brand of handmade costume jewelry from Luxembourg.
To be honest, I hadn’t heard about this jewelry brand before, but I did some research, and now Konplott reminds a little of the Danish Pilgrim (which I love). Here are some Pilgrim things from my collection:
I’ve never been a big fan of those “special effect” cracking nail polishes, or the magnetic ones, or the ones that change color depending on the temperature. I’m simply not into any kind of nail art and I don’t like gimmicks.
However, recently I got a magnetic nail polish from my aunt. Of course, I had to try it. Here’s Golden Rose Magnetic nail polish in #11. The shade is burgundy red with a lot of silver shimmer, which forms into stars when affected by the included magnet.
This whole magnet thing takes some getting used to, as you have to paint one nail at a time and then hold the magnet right by the nail. As you can see, all of my nails look different in the end.
I’m not sure if I like the effect. Or rather, I don’t think I do. It was fun to try it and everything, but in the future I think I’m going to use this nail polish without the magnet.
