Monthly Archives: June 2012
The weather is very unstable in Gothenburg these days. Today it hasn’t been raining yet, but ominous clouds are hanging threateningly above.
These wild ducks were swimming around the fountain on Järntorget “iron square” and reminded me of the warm summer nights in Rome, when my guy friends used to swim in several fountains after the clubs and bars had closed.
Right now I’m really looking forward to a vacation by the sea. I haven’t got anything like that planned for this summer yet, but after a rainy June I’m really feeling like booking a trip somewhere warm.
Here you can see some photos from one of the previous vacations!
I went to town for some shoe shopping today. My favorite pair of Adidas sneakers have been worn out and I want to buy another pair just like them. However, they’ve been discontinued and I couldn’t find any pair as good as them.
I did find some new cosmetics products though, which I of course will show you later. I also checked out L’Occitane’s Peony perfume, and I loved it! I think I might buy it soon. Thanks for the tip!
There are a lot of peonies in bloom around where I live right now. I’m absolutely crazy about their wonderful smell! Right now I’m looking for a good peony scent in a bottle. Something true to the original and not too complex would be nice.
I haven’t used a watch regularly for a long time. My last one made quite a loud ticking sound every second, which kind of stressed me out after a while.
My new one, however is completely silent and serene. The only trouble is that I keep forgetting to put it on, since I’m not used to wearing a watch any more, and it doesn’t remind me by constantly ticking like my last one.
Last night I was out with some friends, watching the football game and clubbing. We also saw a great act of Lucy Love, a pretty famous rapper and dubstep artist from Copenhagen, Denmark. Normally I’m not too much into music like that, but this girl was amazing live.
Sweden has been very rainy the last few weeks – you know it’s bad when even Greger doesn’t want to go out. Today, on the other hand, we had a bright, sunny day perfect for enjoying long walks and open-air cafés. It’s hard not to appreciate these beautiful days, when you don’t know whether tomorrow will bring rain or shine.
