One of the presents I got yesterday was this Little Queen by Troika Indigo Design Group. It’s a chromed key ring and it’s so shiny and lightreflecting that you almost can’t photograph it. It’s like taking photos of a mirror.
At first I wanted to put it on my keys, but then I thought it was so cute that I decided to hang it on my bag instead.
I’ve had a really happy birthday. Thank all of you for your birthday wishes today. I was moved to see all your kind comments, emails and birthday cards. And I was really moved to see that so many people from all around the world took a minute out of their day to congratulate me on my birthday. Thank you, you’re really great!
This Russian shawl looks amazing in winter (that post is still one of the most visited ones on this site!), but I think it suits spring, too. After all, there are plenty of lilacs on it, and what’s more spring than lilacs?
It’s been my birthday for about twenty minutes now, and I’ve already received my first present. It’s a macro lens for my camera!!! This lens is the best one of its kind, and of course it’s from Hannes! This is one of my oldest dreams come true. I’m so excited about it that I don’t think I’ll be able to fall asleep tonight.
Happy birthday to me!
Today I got a call from the police office. My passport was ready, so they told me to come down to the station and get it. When I got there it turned out that to get my passport I needed to identify myself, which was a problem, because I didn’t bring any form of identification with me. For some reason I thought that they’d look at the passport and see it that it was mine. Anyway, after some persuading the police officer let me have it.
Sweden has one of the most number of bikes per person in the world, about 65 % of the people here ride a bike. My city is even more extreme. It has the second highest bike density in the world, number one being Beijing.
Taking the bike is often the most practical way of getting around town, and it’s always cheaper than going by car or bus. Biking is good for your health and the environment.
The city’s number of cars hasn’t risen at all here over the last ten years, and today 45 % of all commuters here take their bike to work and school.
Today I’m swatching Forever Crimson by Orly topped with Rock Coat by Dior. This black top coat is such a cool and easy way to freshen up a manicure!
As you can see, my cherry tree at home is already in bloom! It’s not like in Paris, but still.
