Versace for H&M: thoughts and favorite pieces

Versace for H&M: thoughts and favorite piecesThere are a few of you who asked me to make a post on the Versace for H&M collection. As you might know, H&M has had cooperations with different designers several years in a row now. Last year I got a couple of things from Lanvin for H&M. Versace for H&M will hit stores November 17th 2011.
However, I don’t think I will be cuing for this release. There are some nice pieces there, but I will be surprised if it will have much success in Sweden. To me, the whole collection screams of Italy and there’s very little Nordic style about it.
Although, I might get something anyway if I like it in person. Here I picked out some of the pieces I liked.

Do you like any pieces from this collection?

A good start

Also, speaking of new promises. It’s getting too cold for power walking every day, so I’m considering signing up for a gym membership.  There’s this new gym very close to where I live, and they have a special offer for new members – a week of free training. That might just be what I need to get started!..
I just hope I’ll go through with it.

New week, new promises

New week! School will keep me pretty busy this week, but I might take Wednesday off and take a day trip over to Copenhagen. Looking forward to that!

Halloween macaroons, daily grocery shopping and sangria

I’m having a slow Sunday today. I’ve been to a new macaroon café and had some Halloween macaroons (pumpkin and  liquorice). I’ve also done some basic grocery shopping.
And now I’m having over a Spanish friend who’s about to show me how to make real sangria! I’m really exited about this.

I bought:
- Fresh rosemary
- Two types of cauliflower
- Clementines
- An apple
- Chamomile tea
- Melon seeds
- Aged cheese
- Coconut yogurt

Thick as pea soup

I hope your Halloween night was fun (and scary!). For my part, the house warming party was great. But I did have a bit of a scare on the way home.
It was so foggy that you couldn’t see more than ten meters ahead of you, and I was in an area I’d never been before. So it took me a while to find my way home, and everyone I met on the way looked really scary appearing and disappearing in the fog.

Tell me on a Sunday please

Yesterday night was a lot of fun, and I’m feeling like a free person again after having my exam. Today I’m planning to visit one of those outdoor flea markets and then I’m just going to take it easy for the rest of the day.
Also, tonight we changed the clock, so now I feel like a have an extra hour – great!

Will be back here soon,

Beautiful fall

I’m finally back home and just about to have some dinner. I’m quite tired at the moment,  so I’m planning for a short nap after the dinner, and later tonight I’m going to a friend’s house warming party. To be honest, I’d completely forgotten to get him anything, so I’m just bringing a bottle of red wine and some flowers.

Hope you weekend is wonderful!
